Robert Mærsk Uggla became Vice Chairman of Maersk Drilling’s Board of Directors in January 2019.
He started his career with A.P. Moller – Maersk in 2004 at Maersk line, and later became Maersk’s country manager in the United Arab Emirates. In 2011, he was appointed CEO of Maersk’s tanker business, Broström, and between 2012 and 2016 he was CEO of Svitzer. In 2016 he became A.P. Moller Holding’s CEO.
Robert holds an MSc in Business Administration from Stockholm School of Economics, and has studied at the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, Stanford Business School and Harvard Business School.
Qualifications
International, commercial and managerial experience within investments, incubation, shipping and marine services, including HSSE and other ESG aspects, M&A, capital markets and non-executive directorships.
