Integrator: Increasing energy efficiency

The Integrator Rig Team takes active ownership of the need to reduce the environmental impacts of drilling operations.

Integrator: Increasing energy efficiency

Integrator has installed equipment on the main engines to improve the rig crew’s ability to monitor real time power consumption. This helps reduce power consumption
by raising awareness of how much power different pieces of equipment are consuming (for example mud pumps and draw works). Active management of equipment use
has contributed to reduced fuel consumption and cost savings for the client.

Established baseline for fuel consumption was 21 tonnes per day prior to the energy efficiency project, whereas current average consumption is down to 16.2 tonnes.
