Highlander off to a head start
Maersk Highlander performing from the start at Culzean.
On arrival to the Culzean HPHT field in the Central North Sea from the shipyard, the Maersk Highlander drilled and set seven 30” conductors and 20” casing strings 14 days ahead of the planned AFE. The good performance was enabled by outstanding preparation, before Highlander's arrival to Culzean. Following, additional three 17.1/2” sections were drilled, which were also completed ahead of schedule - sending Highlander off to a head start.
