In January 2018, Maersk Drilling commenced operations in Trinidad & Tobago for Shell. Upon spudding the first well, 50% of the rig’s manning were locals.

Maersk Drilling has created 80 local jobs, including a number of locals who have joined our trainee programme. Over the course of the next two years, we have a target of increasing the local content distribution to 63%.
