Maersk Drilling has tailored four distinctive acceleration programmes, which will prepare you for positions in our field.

MITAS

Who: You recently graduated as Mechanical, Structural or Electrical Engineer.

What: As a MITAS Engineer, you will qualify for positions such as technical superintendent.

How: The programme will expose you to various engineering roles within the upstream sector. You will meet fascinating technical challenges along the way and will develop your business mindset.

Driller Trainee

Who: You preferably hold an engineering degree and dream of experiencing the offshore.

What: The programme will prepare your entry into the offshore world as an Assistant Driller.

How: You will go through a combination of theoretical and practical training over a period of approx. 18 months.

Rig Manager development programme

Who: You are an engineer or leader, preferably (but not necessarily) with offshore experience. If you lack offshore experience, we will put you through an accelerated offshore training process before entering the actual programme.

What: This programme will prepare you for the onshore position of Assistant Rig Manager.

How: You will rotate between different rig teams and be exposed to the various types of drilling units over a period of 1½-2 years.
