At Maersk Drilling, we rank security considerations very highly when managing our business. We work in close cooperation with the relevant authorities to assess risks and implement measures that help maintain the highest security standards within the organisation. We strive to be recognised as a reliable and accountable company by keeping our internal and external stakeholders protected.

Security risk assessment

Security is an integral part of our business - onshore and offshore - for our employees, our customers and our suppliers. We operate across the world and deal with various security issues. To improve our operational standards, we report and investigate any breach in security. These assessments help us to proactively manage and uphold a high level of security. Our security risk assessments address three areas of concern:

Dealing with piracy and armed robbery

All vessels in the A.P. Moller - Maersk Group follow industry and naval recommendations set out in 'Best Management Practices' (BMP3) and group activities, to protect against the threat of piracy and armed robbery. In addition, security assessments for Maersk Drilling have been carried out in high risk areas to implement our prudent approach to security.

We will stop at nothing to eliminate accidents by maintaining a strong safety culture driven by values, beliefs, behaviour and communication.
