Environmental and climate change strategy
Our work with environment and climate change is overseen in close cooperation between the HSSE team and the CSR function. Whereas the HSSE team covers compliance with regulatory requirements, chemical management, operational risk assessments and spills, the CSR function focus on engaging with clients and other stakeholders in business partnerships to find good solutions to prevent damage to the environment. The CSR function also document and report on our environmental performance.
Our Environmental and Climate Change Strategy does not only focus in reducing our emissions; we also strive to find additional ways of minimizing our footprint, by looking beyond our own operations and initiating cooperation programmes with our customers, to ensure that our high standards are upheld as far as possible within our sphere of influence.
