Decision Making and Risk Management
As part of our ongoing efforts to conduct our business responsibly, we comply with the A.P. Moller - Maersk Group's Anti-Corruption Policy. Together with our suppliers, we actively work to prevent all forms of corrupt practices and as a baseline, we ask our suppliers to acknowledge our Third Party Code of Conduct as a requirement of doing business together.
We are committed to working with our partners to promote responsible business practices in general and throughout our supply chain around the world. We are now expanding our efforts by looking at ways to cooperate better with governments, NGOs, business partners and industry organisations.
Global labour principles
At Maersk Drilling, we aim to attract and retain the most talented people by ensuring that every employee is treated with dignity and respect - wherever they work. Maersk Drilling operates in various parts of the world and employs thousands of people representing diverse cultures, working with varied local legislative requirements. As an international company committed to delivering the highest quality products and services, providing a good place to work is imperative and we ensure this by complying with our global labour principles and Maersk Drilling's Principles of Conduct.
CSR risk management
We seek to integrate, promote and enable triple bottom line thinking (people, planet and profit) into decision making. To measure and diagnose our state of CSR and improve performance we apply three approaches: 1) enterprise risk management; 2) commercial process, and; global CSR risk & mitigation survey.
