Maersk Drilling is the world's leading supplier of rigs and drilling technology, designed to handle the challenges of the remote and unforgiving environments near polar areas.
The outstanding offline capabilities of our ultra harsh environment jack-ups minimise non-productive time and increase the operational efficiency of all drilling operations. Every corner of the rigs - from the comfortable living quarters to the uniquely automated deck - is custom-built to deliver efficient and safe operations while offering superior life and work quality to the crewmembers.
Our ultra harsh environment jack-ups are capable of drilling in 105 m (350 ft) of water and have a maximum drilling depth of 10,000 m (30,000 ft).
Selected features
| XY cantilever |
Larger drilling envelope = less rig moves |
|
Large cantilever loading = reduced pipe handling when bringing tubulars on to the rig & the ability to move with pipe in derrick |
| Offline activities |
2 workstations (online/offline): Iron Roughneck and Torque master (Contingency leading to less NPT |
|
All tubulars can be made up or laid out offline |
