A technical training programme that prepares you for the great leadership challenge of being responsible for the daily operations of a drilling rig.

At Maersk Drilling, we encourage our employees to take ownership of their careers paths and professional growth, and we are committed to supporting them in their quest. So aside from specialist training programmes, we offer all our employees a broad and extensive range of training tools and courses in areas such as:
- Personal skills, such as presentation and sales techniques and assertiveness and negotiation training
- IT skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and graphics software
- Language training, including intensive courses for employees heading for expatriation
- Courses in economics and maritime law
- Management development programmes available in Denmark and abroad. A select number of managers are offered management programmes at internationally recognised universities and schools in Europe and the United States
Parallel to these, we continually run course activities focused on specific work areas within individual company departments. Some training activities take place in our own facilities while others are taken as open courses at leading domestic or foreign educational institutions.
We are invested in the future goals of our employees. At Maersk Drilling, your individual performance, achievements and potential are evaluated annually in appraisal interviews. During these interviews, your training and education plan will be discussed along with other issues regarding your personal development.
Provided supplementary education is considered relevant for your present or future position in the company, Maersk Drilling refunds all tuition expenses.
